Shuffleboard
What is Shuffleboard?
A game of touch, skill and strategy involving a long and narrow playing field, scoring zones at each end and pucks that are pushed from one end of the table to the other.
How do you win?
Individual players or teams, compete whilst taking it in turns to slide their pucks into the scoring zones from one end of the table to the other, ranging from 1-5 points. First player or team to 15 points, wins!
Where has it been?
A very old pub game rejuvenated in Austin, Texas. Americans have long been aware of this game, but have missed out on an integral element of what makes Shuffleboard popular today.… they play on flat tables.
Since 2008 it has been growing rapidly in Scandinavia, Germany and the United Kingdom, mostly thanks to the new curved tables, but also some revolutionary work from the team at European Shuffleboard.
